Ippudo
Welcome to
another food review by Kristine Nguyen (45354065), one of the members of
MQFoodies. The restaurant recommended today for your hungry stomachs is Ippudo.
This is one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Sydney with one of them
conveniently located right in MQ Center. Their menu consists of a variety of
Japanese cuisines including Japanese ice cream for dessert, however they are
widely-recognised for their delicious ramens.
From my
experience, i would suggest ordering the shiromaru motoaij ramen, which is a creamy broth with chashu (pork).
For my tastebuds, the soup was slightly salty.
However, the overall ramen was delicious and I enjoyed every bit of it, especially the soft, savoury pork. It was
well complimented with a small side dish of crispy takoyaki consisting of rich flavours. Furthermore, the restaurant consists of a
chill, fancy vibe surrounded by friendly employees to help assist customers.
The food was served in a timely manner. Although the food is very delicious,
the price may be considered quite expensive for a university student to have
frequently. However, the restaurant contains Ippudo ramen specials of $10 every now and then so make sure to keep updated!! They also have promotions for a free bowl of ramen on your 5th
stamp.
Thus, I would rate this place a 3.8/5 J
