Gia Hoi

Craving delicious Vietnamese food? Gia Hoi is the place to go!

On a Saturday afternoon, Janice Pan (45958025) embarked on a food adventure to try out tasty Vietnamese food.

I ordered the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio which is Grilled Pork and Spring Roll with Thin Rice Vermicelli. The dish is a good combination of different textures and flavours. It was fresh and topped it off perfectly with the peanut bits, a good portion of vegetables and protein. My rating for this dish is 4.5/5.

The drink I ordered is a traditional Vietnamese drink called the “Three Colour Bean Dessert” which is Che Ba Mau. It is a mix of red beans, mung beans with pandan jelly and coconut sauce. The drink is typically very sweet and served ice cold. It is a rich and delicious traditional drink to finish off the lunch. I will give the drink a rating of 3/5, it can be a bit too sweet sometimes.

This concludes my review of Gia Hoi, it has a reasonably large menu with lots of traditional Vietnamese food and I would recommend it!
